Volunteers in Policing
 

The Payson Police Department is seeking community minded individuals to volunteer their time and skill. Volunteers are used to augment the police force by offering services that are wanted or needed by citizens that officers do not have the time to provide.

Possible services volunteers might provide include data entry, clerical work, telephone answering, traffic control during special events, crime scene security and much more.

Volunteers will be required to submit an application and are subject to an interview and background check. All applicants must be 18 unless they need to provide a community service to obtain credits for high school graduation.
